About
Get to
know me.
I'm Matilda, a digital designer with a bachelor's degree from Kristianstad University, where I studied the intersection of people, technology, and design. My education combines informatics and design science, giving me a strong foundation in both user-centred design and technical understanding. I also studied human geography at Stockholm University.
Before design, I spent eight years in leadership roles across the restaurant industry in Sweden and Australia, managing teams of 10 to 20 people at Chapterhouse Coffee and Shuk in Sydney and Melbourne, and as café manager at Fru Marias Bak in Sweden. That work built a strong foundation in leadership, problem-solving, and reading what people need before they say it. Skills I now bring directly into my design practice.

I hold a degree in digital design. Lately my focus has been on how AI tools can extend what a designer can do, something I explored hands-on working with Forecasterly.

MotionMarketing video, partnership announcement graphic, and social assets for Forecasterly, bringing the brand to life beyond the website.
2024/2025SOWE: Print & Social Design
Visual DesignSocial media and print design for SOWE, a Swedish nonprofit supporting women and girls in Uganda. Produced Instagram content, an advent calendar series, and donation certificates as part of a three-person design team.
2024InterAstra: AR Game Design
UI/UXClient case for InterAstra. Five sprints of concept development for an AR pervasive game, exploring how digital objects can interact with the physical world.
2024Elin & Victor: Wedding Identity
Visual DesignVisual design for a winter wedding in Falun — including the wedding website built in Wix and save the date communication designed in Canva, unified by a palette of green, gold and beige.

Visual DesignA three-person design project exploring ethical digital nudging, resulting in a seven-principle manifest and an interactive flowchart illustrating how design choices shape user behaviour in e-commerce.
